Mill Rats to Create Over 50 Jobs in Johnstown

The Johnstown Mill Rats, the new hometown baseball team that will play at least 30 home games in Johnstown beginning Thursday, May 27th, have announced their intention to hire more than 50 local residents to help facilitate their upcoming inaugural baseball season at Sargent’s Stadium at The Point in Downtown Johnstown.

In addition to baseball games, the Mill Rats anticipate holding other entertainment events at Sargent’s Stadium which would provide additional opportunities for seasonal personnel.

Positions include ticket takers, ticket sellers, ushers, on-field entertainment staff, concession assistants and technical positions working with the new videoboard.

Mill Rats Director of Game Presentation, Jeff Raymond said, “With so much to do to ensure a great experience for our fans, we’re going to need a lot game day staff, and we’re excited to be able to bring jobs to Johnstown!”

The Mill Rats will conduct a Casting Call prior to the start of the season to fill a majority of the positions and are currently accepting resumes from interested parties.
