JOHNSTOWN, PA – The most iconic phrase in every baseball game are the words – PLAY
BALL!. The Mill Rats are giving one young fan the opportunity to make the play ball
announcement each home game this summer.
“The Play Ball Kid is fun promotion that allows on young fan and their family to truly have a one-
of-a-kind experience,” stated Mill Rats Assistant General Manager, Sarah Rex. “We look
forward to hosting 25 boys and girls and their families on the field this summer.”

Each participant and their family will receive complimentary tickets on their special night at the
ballpark.
The Mill Rats begin their third season on May 31, 2023 when they take on the Champion City
Kings in Springfield, Ohio. The Mill Rats home opener is Friday, June 9 when they take on the
