JOHNSTOWN, PA – Every game this summer, the Mill Rats will honor an active or retired
member of the military as the “Mill Rats Hometown Hero”. The honoree and their family will
receive complimentary game tickets, food and drinks.
The military member will be featured on the stadium videoboard during the Mill Rats Hometown
Hero Salute every game at The Point Stadium.
“As a former member of the military myself, the opportunity for our organization to say thank you
to those who are serving or have served and their families is a great addition to the summer fun
at The Point,” stated Mill Rats Assistant General Manager, Sarah Rex
To nominate an active or retired individual who has served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast
Guard or Marines, to be honored by the Mill Rats, people are encouraged to visit the Mill Rats
