Trey Lipscomb is a University of Tennessee alum. He played for the Mill Rats in our inaugural season. Lipscomb entered the MLB draft in 2022, and was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the third round. He spent time playing for the Nationals’ minor affiliate teams. In April 2024, Trey was called up to start for the Washington Nationals on their opening day. He has stayed in their starting lineup since. Lipscomb had his first MLB hit during his first at-bat. He hit his first home run in the MLB in his second game as a Washington National.
